Computer Literacy
This course is designed to provide the students at EXCEL with the necessary basic skills in computer hardware and software. Students learn to use the Microsoft Office programs. Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, along with Microsoft FrontPage. The class explores the inside of a computer, learning about all the basic components, peripherals and other hardware. Students also learn the history of computers, and the types of computer uses. Projects include creating visual presentations and designing a computer.
