Course Descriptions

"Working on the newsletter is a great opportunity for everyone involved. We acquire many skills through this job, while having fun at the same time. When we plan the initial draft of the newsletter, we learn about organization, time management and teamwork. As the project progresses to the final copy, we apply our knowledge from English class by writing, editing, revising, and proofreading the articles. We also learn to meet due dates and use various multimedia software. Producing a newsletter is no easy task, but everyone feels proud when they look at the final copy that they helped produce. By working together, we can achieve what would have been almost impossible for just one person." -Alex (current student)
